A standard wedding tent has PVC side walls – opaque or translucent. Guests inside can't see outside, and lighting relies mainly on artificial fixtures.
An atrium wedding tent is different. The side walls are transparent glass. Guests can see the lawn, garden, mountains, and lake around them. Natural light comes in from every direction, reducing the need for extra lighting. In short: one is a big tent, the other is a glass house.

Atrium wedding tents come in two frame color options:
White Frame – bright and soft. Works well for lawn weddings, garden weddings, and fresh-style venues. White blends naturally with outdoor surroundings – understated and elegant.
Black Frame – stronger lines, cleaner visual effect. Works well for beach weddings, modern-style venues, and upscale hotel terraces. Black frames paired with glass produce more striking photos.
The choice depends on the venue style and personal preference.
Atrium wedding tents span from 10 to 40 meters, with length extendable in 3m or 5m modules, covering weddings from 100 to 500 guests.
| Tent Size | Capacity | Layout |
|---|---|---|
| 15m × 20m | 80-150 guests | Ceremony + banquet |
| 18m × 25m | 150-250 guests | Ceremony + banquet + dance floor |
| 20m × 30m | 200-300 guests | Ceremony + banquet + runway + dance floor |
| 25m × 40m | 300-500 guests | Multi-zone function layout |
Atrium wedding tents have minimal ground requirements – lawn, concrete, hotel patios, and resort lawns all work.

Lawn Weddings – glass tent set on green grass, surrounded by gardens or mountain views. Natural light fills the space during the day; lighting transforms the atmosphere at night.
Beachfront – transparent glass walls turn the ocean view into the wedding backdrop. Guests see the horizon from inside the tent.
Hotel Rooftop Terraces – many hotels have outdoor terraces or gardens but lack weather protection. An atrium tent preserves the outdoor experience while providing shelter.
Wine Estates – set up among the vineyards, with wine tasting and dining immediately after the ceremony.
Castle Grounds – classic architecture paired with modern glass tent.
Hilltop Lookouts – transparent tent preserves the 360° panoramic view.
Lakeside Venues – light reflects off the water through the glass, creating the best natural lighting conditions.
The frame is 6061-T6 aluminum alloy with anodized surface treatment. White frames receive a white coating; black frames receive black anodizing. The color adheres well and won't fade or peel with long-term outdoor use.
The glass walls are laminated tempered glass – two layers of glass with a PVB interlayer. The glass won't shatter and scatter if broken, ensuring safety. Light transmittance is over 85%, providing clear views from inside and a transparent appearance from outside.
The roof cover is 850g/㎡ double-sided PVC coated fabric – waterproof, flame-retardant, tear-resistant, and UV-resistant. Opaque white is the standard choice; transparent roof covers are also available for better daylighting.
Atrium wedding tents don't require foundations or ground modification. On concrete, use expansion bolts. On grass, use ballast weights or ground anchors. When disassembled, the ground returns to its original condition.
Installation typically takes 3 to 7 days, depending on size and configuration. Starting one week before the wedding gives plenty of time. Modular assembly means a small crew can handle the installation.

Lingtong Tent has been manufacturing aluminum alloy tents for 29 years, operating from a 20,000㎡ facility. The full production chain – aluminum extrusion, surface finishing, CNC cutting, fabric cutting, and high-frequency welding – is all done in-house. Products are exported to over 200 countries and regions, with ISO9001 and CE certifications.
Over the years, Lingtong Tent has developed deep expertise in aluminum tent structures – knowing which designs offer the best wind resistance, which fabrics perform best in different climates, and what configurations work for different regions. Building a high-spec product like an atrium wedding tent requires experience.
Exporting to diverse markets means the factory has handled orders from different countries, across various climates, installation environments, and usage requirements. This broad experience refines the product quality.
Spare parts are available at cost price for life. When the cover fabric wears out after years of use, just replace the cover – the frame stays. This costs much less than replacing the entire structure. Customers who came to us 29 years ago still come back, proving this isn't just a one-time business.
For venue operators, durability matters. The aluminum frame stays rust-free and corrosion-free for 15-20 years. With the cover replaced every few years, the annual amortized cost is low. A product that lasts, requires minimal maintenance, and doesn't fail – that's what makes the difference.
Does rainwater seep in if the tent is set up on grass?
No. The tent is a freestanding structure and doesn't damage the grass. The cover and glass walls have sealed waterproofing, so rainwater won't enter. Gutters along both sides channel water away.
How large can an atrium wedding tent be?
Span from 10 to 40 meters, with unlimited length extension. For a 200-guest wedding, 20×30 meters is sufficient. Larger sizes accommodate 300+ guests, depending on the site and capacity requirements.
Does the transparent roof make it too hot in summer?
A transparent roof lets in more heat than an opaque one. For summer weddings, we recommend an opaque roof or adding a shade layer. Glass walls can be opened for ventilation, and with air conditioning, the temperature stays comfortable.
Can you install it overseas?
Yes. We provide installation drawings and video tutorials. For large-scale projects, technicians can be sent to site for guidance. The product ships to over 200 countries, with extensive overseas installation experience.
